That was 174 more than the day before and 44 more than Tuesday the previous week.

Rostock - The seven-day incidence was given as 50.9 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.

According to the information, a total of 50,308 people in the country have been shown to have been infected with the virus.

If the traffic light remains on green for five days, the stricter protective measures - such as the extended test obligation for unvaccinated people, for example when visiting the hairdresser or restaurant - can be lifted.

In the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, on the other hand, for which the traffic light is yellow for the fourth day in a row, the extended test obligations apply from Wednesday.

A corresponding general decree has been published, announced the district administration.

Fully vaccinated, convalescent and children under seven years of age are exempt from the obligation to test.

In terms of hospitalization incidence, all regions of the country are still in the green.

It indicates the number of people per 100,000 inhabitants who were admitted to hospital with Covid-19 in the past seven days.

Nationwide, this value was 0.9.

An upgrade on the traffic light card is made from a value of 8.0.
