The new stairs to the northern platform at the Harthaus S-Bahn station are ready.
According to the city administration, it will take a few days before it is publicly released.
There is still some remaining work to be done.
The new access to the platform was built at the city's expense.
The reason was that many S-Bahn drivers wanted to avoid the longer access ramps after the station was made barrier-free.
The result was a beaten path that nobody liked.
With the construction of the stairs, this temporary shortcut is a thing of the past.
