Ronald Araujo, was injured last night (Monday to Tuesday) in the loss of his team Uruguay 3-0 to Argentina in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and was released from the squad.
Araujo is a partner in all of Barcelona's games this season in the league and also started in the first two rounds of the Champions League home stage.
Despite the Catalans' faltering defense this season, the brake is considered highly valued by Ronald Koeman, but he will likely be out for the next two weeks which means he could miss Real Madrid in the Clasico to be held in 12 days.
A game that is almost certain to be missed is against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League next week.
