Fürstenfeldbruck - Between Fürstenfeldbruck and Aich, the twin tires of a truck came loose on Monday, October 11th and rolled into oncoming traffic.
There the tires hit a truck and a car.
The accident occurred at 11.50 a.m. on State Road 2054 when a 49-year-old from Munich was driving his truck in the direction of Fürstenfeldbruck.
During the journey, the twin tires detached themselves from the rear axle and rolled into oncoming traffic.
There they hit an oncoming truck and a VW that followed.
Material fatigue or manipulation?
The two drivers, a 64-year-old from the Freising district and a 38-year-old from Fürstenfeldbrucker, got away with the horror and were unharmed.
Their vehicles were damaged by 1,500 euros.
The police investigations now have to clarify whether there was material fatigue or tampering with the tires.
