Reading runs in the family: The three ultimate bookworms from Markt Schwaben, Feline, Enna-Luisa and Lean, have won the library's main prize

Markt Schwaben - Eleven-year-old Enna-Luisa, nine-year-old Feline and six-year-old Lean won the library's main prize - an annual ticket for Hellabrunn Zoo plus an ice cream voucher, a certificate signed by Mayor Stolze, and Feline even received a medal. But they really deserved it with their reading performance. Enna-Luise read 60 books during the summer vacation, Feline had 75 copies - hence the medal - and Lean devoured a total of 51 books. Some of the books were read on the trip to Italy on vacation.

Everyone was allowed to take a bag with ten books with them.

Enna-Luisa admitted with a wink that she had previously hidden two books in the car.

And they also swapped books with one another, so the number of books read in total should actually be corrected upwards.

The three-year-old Minna - the smallest in the family - is almost desperate because she can't read yet, the mother of the three letter lovers tells.

Minna grabs a book when everyone is sitting comfortably in their reading corner, opens it and invents stories - that's almost exactly like reading, especially she is there with the others.

When asked where the children got this affinity for letters from, Mother Buschner says with a smile: “Yes, of course, from my husband and me.

We are also passionate about reading. ”And every four weeks you can find the three bookworms in the library.

Everyone takes their rucksack with them and it is then packed full of new reading material.

They can't come more often because the children do a lot of sport and the school is still there.

By the way, Feline's medal is not alone in the closet at home, there are already many sports medals that have been won.

At the weekend, the whole family can look forward to their first visit to Hellabrunn Zoo.
