Wallgau

- There is optimism in Bastian Eiter's voice.

"There are already seven serious interested parties," said the mayor of Wallgau (electoral association).

“And four of the previous community of participants will continue.” A good prerequisite for Wednesday evening.

Then he wants to inform and sensitize all interested Wallgau citizens to the topic of village renewal.

Pus wishes that many keep the appointment.

After all, it is about the entire village and exciting projects.

Krün has already shown the way.

Months ago the municipality elected a board for the so-called community of participants (TG).

This personnel requirement is necessary in order to be able to tap the state subsidies in the course of village renewal.

"The election of our board of directors is long overdue," says Eiter.

The last electoral term (2013 to 2019) was two years ago.

But the corona crisis did not make the problem any easier.

In addition, the ball is held by the Office for Rural Development Upper Bavaria (ALE).

It is responsible for the Wallgau village renewal.

"It will hopefully organize the elections for the board in the foreseeable future."

Information evening should create the basic requirements for the election of the board

On Wednesday evening, Eiter would like to create the basic conditions for this. Mobilize a group of committed locals to make themselves available for the leadership positions. A total of five board members and five deputies are required. “Everyone has equal rights,” says Eiter. "There is no first, second or third board member." A comradely togetherness at eye level, that is what the municipal councils Wolfgang Behling (electoral association) and Bernhard Neuner junior (CSU) would like at the meeting at the end of September.

But even those who do not want to take on responsibility in a management position are invited to actively participate.

“Everyone can participate in the working groups on various topics in the locality,” says Eiter.

Because one thing is absolutely clear: only if the citizens are brought on board, the village renewal and thus Wallgau's future can be advanced and secured.

On Wednesday in the guest house, the town hall chief will have an open ear for all questions from potential participants.

He also presents the measures that have been implemented so far, such as bypassing the steep section at Hell or the so-called cigarette path.

Eiter also wants to give a little outlook on projects that are imminent, that are theoretically possible, that are worth attacking.

“The entire information evening is completely non-binding.” Everyone should come, listen and consider for themselves whether they would like to take part in the village renewal.

Everyone who is interested in the development of Wallgau, who can take the time, likes to work in a team, is persistent and creative, is right.

On Wednesday, October 13th, the information event starts at 7.30 p.m. in the Haus des Gastes in Wallgau.
