Memmingerberg - Officials of the border police group of the police station Memmingen reported several wanted hits last weekend (9/10/10/2021).
At Allgäu Airport, four people wanted by arrest warrant went online.
One was even advertised by the Italian judiciary for an international search.
On Saturday morning, officers of the PI Memmingen border police group met a 24-year-old Romanian at Allgäu Airport who wanted to fly from Memmingen to Bucharest by plane.
During the police exit control, the officers found two wanted notices.
On the one hand, there was an enforcement arrest warrant from a German public prosecutor's office and, on the other hand, another German public prosecutor's office issued an advertisement for asset recovery after a theft offense.
The man could neither raise the payment of 7,200 euros to avert the arrest warrant nor cash to recover his assets, so he was arrested and taken to a Bavarian prison.
Execution of the arrest warrant averted: unpaid parking tickets still paid before departure
During the police immigration control of a 26-year-old Latvian citizen who wanted to travel to Germany from Chisinau (Moldova) on Saturday afternoon, an alert to arrest a German public prosecutor was found.
The man was wanted for unpaid traffic offenses.
However, the arrest warrant could be averted by paying around 900 euros, and the man was then allowed to enter the country.
Only after the money had been paid was it allowed to leave the country
Also on Saturday afternoon, police officers from the PI Memmingen border police group at Allgäu Airport discovered a 30-year-old Romanian woman who was being arrested by a German public prosecutor's office for fraud.
The warrant for enforcement arrest could be averted by a cash payment in the amount of 1,500 euros.
The exit to Romania was therefore permitted.

The officers of the PI Memmingen border police caught a "big fish" on Sunday evening.
Upon entering Germany, they discovered a Georgian at Allgäu Airport who had been announced for arrest by the Italian judiciary via an EU arrest warrant.
The 44-year-old came by plane from Kutaisi (Georgia) to Memmingen, where the officials declared the provisional arrest.
The man was brought before the judge the next day.
The arrest warrant is based on multiple offenses in the area of property crime.
