In the Nazareth District Court, the testimony phase of Roman Zadorov's retrial is currently underway (Tuesday), after he was convicted of the murder of the late girl Tair Rada.

Fifteen years after he headed the girl's investigation team, Tair Rada, Chief of Staff Yoram Azulai will appear on the witness stand in the court in Nazareth again today. .
Today he will be required to testify before the court about the conduct of the investigation, the reconstruction, the confession made by Zadorov.

It will be recalled that the trial took place following the decision of the former Vice President of the Supreme Court, Justice Hanan Meltzer, following Adv. Yarom Halevi's claim that there is new evidence in the case that should be re-examined in a retrial.
Among other things, it is the imprint of the shoe whose owner is unknown, and the imprint on the toilet lid in the cell where the murder took place.

The state claimed that the bloodprint was of an anonymous extractor, but defense experts argued that it was not possible that blood continued to drip hours after the murder.
Last July, it was decided at hearings held in the State Attorney's Office, headed by State Attorney Amit Eisman, that the state would conduct a retrial and file an indictment against Zadorov.
During the hearings, it was determined that after examining the evidence, it was decided that there was a reasonable chance of his conviction for murder.
The hearings and interrogation of the witnesses will be led on behalf of the prosecution by lawyer Yiam Kablawi.
The panel is chaired by the Vice President of the Nazareth District Court, Judge Asher Kola, along with the judges.

Zdorov's defense attorney, Adv. Yarom Halevi, is expected to interrogate Azoulay at length and especially confront him with allegations that the investigation team led Zdorov to reconstruction, while instructing him on how to reconstruct and planting in his mind how to commit the murder.
As you may recall, Zadorov was released from prison about a month and a half ago after serving 15 years in prison.
His release caused a stir.
He has since been lecturing under house arrest at his wife's parents' home in Katzrin, with an electronic handcuff on his leg.
