As once in "Star Trek": "Captain Kirk" actor William Shatner takes off on Wednesday with the help of a capsule from Jeff Bezos in the direction of space.
Van Horn - It's felt like a return for 90-year-old actor William Shatner - and yet an absolute novelty.
The Hollywood star and former “Captain Kirk” actor from the “Star Trek” series flies into space on Wednesday.
With the space capsule New Shepard Shatner is supposed to fly into space.
He belongs to the four-person crew of the second space flight of the capsule New Shepard, which belongs to the company Blue Origin.
This is owned by Amazon founder and “Star Trek” fan Jeff Bezos.

In addition to Shatner, the Vice President of Blue Origin and two entrepreneurs are on board.
While the entrepreneurs have probably paid for their flight, Shatner flies into space as a PR gag at the company's invitation.
If everything goes well, the actor would be the oldest person who was ever in space.
