The actor Ludwig Haas, known as “Dr.
Dressler ”from“ Lindenstrasse ”is dead. He died on September 4th at the age of 88 in a hospital in his hometown of Neumünster, as his daughter Franca Haas confirmed to the German Press Agency in Cologne on Wednesday.

Cologne / Neumünster - Haas was born in Eutin (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1933.
After training to be an actor, he first appeared on various theater stages, including in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Munich.
He was also seen in supporting roles in TV series, for example in “Tatort”, “Der Alte” and “Derrick”.
Haas has been with "Lindenstrasse" since the first episode in 1985.
For 34 years he played the role of the somewhat senior doctor in the ARD series, who sat in a wheelchair.
A few months before the series was discontinued in March 2020, his character “Dr.
