A 41-year-old truck driver was driving a trailer in the direction of Kassel late on Tuesday evening when a tire of his trailer burst between the Hattenbacher and the Kirchheimer triangle, the police said on Wednesday.

The special thing about it: Since the accident happened in the construction site area, the tire remained “trapped” between the raised lane boundary on the left and the crash barrier on the right.
He was thrown around over a length of 700 meters and hit by several cars.
According to the police, the property damage amounts to more than 70,000 euros.
Several vehicles had to be towed.
Nobody got hurt.
