The Ministry of Local Administration and Environment has allocated 334 million Syrian pounds to secure firefighting equipment and supplies for firefighting regiments, units and centers in the governorates, in addition to the 335 million Syrian pounds previously made financial contributions to this sector.
In a statement, which SANA received a copy of, the ministry indicated that this amount enhances the readiness of firefighting crews in the governorates to face risks and fires, enabling them to carry out the tasks entrusted to them.
In support of this sector, the Ministry has secured 63 modern firefighting vehicles from the account of the Reconstruction Committee and distributed to the governorates, bringing the total number of vehicles to 404.
