Damascus-SANA
Childish fingers trained in merging with the chord, so they invented a universal language of their own, carrying a message that music will remain the language of love. The children of the Al-Assad Youth Institute chose to convey a message of love and peace through a ceremony hosted by the theater of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Adawi.
The children's fingers danced on the guitar, and they presented the audience with romantic and rhythmic pieces, jazz, tango and hip-hop melodies, in addition to a variety of pieces by Rahabna.
The two children, Lyn Al-Essa and Rahaf Taha, starred in the classic solo with singing, and the children Lima Brighla, Majd Al-Din Qala Ji, Rania Ghosn, Judy Deeb, Lemar and Jawad Al-Abdullah, their distinguished participation, which added to the ceremony a special character, with which the audience interacted with love and admiration.
It is noteworthy that the concert, which was held in cooperation between Thaqafi Al-Adawi and the Lion Youth Institute for Music, is the outcome of exemplary performances of the classical guitar instrument for young students in the second year at the institute under the supervision of North Nabouti.
The Al-Assad Youth Institute is affiliated to the Ministry of Education and the Revolutionary Youth Union. It aims to teach children to sing and play Arab and Western musical instruments and to awaken the child’s ability, in addition to empowering children with musical intelligence and employing it in building a morally, cognitively and musically balanced person.
