The novel, which was published in 1982, and tens of millions of copies were printed around the world, was recently published by the Syrian General Book Organization under the name The Good Giant, and it was translated into Arabic by Ruba Zain al-Din and al-Rasum by Qahtan al-Tala`a.
The novel, which is located in 239 of the great pieces, revolves around Sophie, a young girl who encounters one day the huge friendly giant, who becomes clear with time that his fearsome appearance is completely different from his essence. To begin a journey of fun, suspense and imagination.
During Sophie's journey, we read many interesting dialogues and see the imagination in creating characters and situations in all parts of the novel, with an interesting plot that makes the child draw to its details in search of answers to his questions.
It is noteworthy that Roald Dahl is a British novelist, short story writer and screenwriter. His other successful works include stories and novels that often conclude with unexpected endings.
