Dozens of Palestinians, during a solidarity stand in Tubas in the West Bank today, called on human rights and humanitarian institutions to urgently intervene to save the lives of prisoners in Israeli occupation detention centers.
According to Wafa Agency, the participants in the vigil called by the national action factions raised the Palestinian flags and affirmed the continuation of their solidarity activities with the prisoners, especially the sick and hunger strikers who are fighting an empty bowel battle in light of the deliberate medical neglect by the occupation authorities.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
