More than a thousand diverse artworks between handicrafts, drawings and sculptures for students of plastic arts centers in Damascus will be hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Adawi until the end of this week within the exhibition (Idea and Art).

Plastic artist Muwaffaq Makhoul, supervisor of the Fine Arts Centers affiliated to the Ministry of Education, stated that the exhibition is the product of 13 centers and includes artworks that reflect distinctive ideas of children of different ages and highlight their talents and creativity.

Minister of Education Dr. Darem Tabbaa commended the initiative of a number of plastic artists to train students of different ages to produce distinguished works and discover talents that may have a promising future locally and globally.

SANA monitored the opinions of a number of students. Marwa Amer, 15, who participated in a panel on cooperation between friends, expressed her happiness because the exhibition provided her with the opportunity to introduce people to her talent and exchange experiences with colleagues who share her interests, indicating that she is currently training at Mumtaz Al-Bahra Center for the Arts on the basics and refinement of talent.

Heba Shoula, 17 years old, participates in a painting that expresses strength and patience, and another about sadness. She shows that she has been drawing since she was young and has been trying to develop her talent through continuous self-training and training at the Mumtaz Al-Bahra Center, while Heba's mother, Nawal Beydoun, expressed her happiness that her daughter has become, with the training, able to express her ideas easily. .

From the blend of fabrics, Lujain Ramadan, in the sixth grade, and her companions made dolls and children’s toys by recycling and shaping them to emphasize the need to contribute to preserving and protecting the environment, while Faten Eid made handicrafts by folding paper taken from books and magazines and using wood to decorate classroom and home rooms and making toys For children, she pointed out that the exhibition boosted her self-confidence and helped her develop herself.
