Acquittals overturned after the collapse of the Cologne City Archives

More than twelve years after the Cologne city archive collapsed with two dead, the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe overturned the acquittals of two site managers. The mammoth process surrounding the disaster of March 3, 2009 will thus be rolled out again in parts. Another chamber of the Cologne Regional Court now has to decide again. The men were acquitted of the accusation of negligent homicide in October 2018 by the Cologne Regional Court.
