After regaining consciousness and starting talking to his family, the condition of Itzik Saidian, who is hospitalized at Tel Hashomer Hospital, worsened today (Wednesday).
Saidian, who set himself on fire about six months ago in front of the Rehabilitation Division of the Ministry of Defense in Petah Tikva, began to feel less well during the day, he is in intensive care and his life is still in danger.
The family said they wanted to stop visiting.
"The people of Israel are asked to pray for the healing of Yitzhak Chaim Ben Lida," the family said.
Defense Minister Bnei Gantz visited Saidian yesterday, along with Ziv Shilon.
The head of the Jerusalem District in the Rehabilitation Division, Tamar Galil, and Saidian's battalion commander, Col. Erez Alkabetz, were also present at the visit.
