The administration supports different formats in order to take into account the concerns of children, adolescents and young adults in as many areas as possible.
The department names the children and youth forum, the children and youth assemblies in the city districts or participation projects such as online surveys and topic-specific workshops as examples.

At the same time, the Social Affairs Department also recognizes that in the recently published online youth survey, a large proportion of the participants would like more political participation.

As it goes on, the administration is currently examining how the interests of young people can be heard more intensively and in a binding manner and incorporated into the local political discussion.
"Together with young people, implementation proposals for a participation structure should be developed that can be implemented as closely as possible with the young people, that takes their diversity into account and their life situations in their neighborhoods as a basis.
This should be submitted to the city council for a decision by the end of this year. "
