Deir Ezzor-SANA
The plastic artists participating in the group exhibition hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Deir Ezzor were inspired by their paintings from the Euphrates environment and from the victories of the October Liberation War.
The exhibition, which was held by the branch of the Union of Fine Artists in the governorate in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture, under the title Salute to Tishreen, in which 11 artists participated, presenting 30 plastic paintings that came from different schools of classicism, romance and realism and used various techniques such as oil, watercolor and acrylic.
The Director of Culture, Ahmed Al-Ali, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the event was held to celebrate the October holidays, within the framework of restoring life to the cultural movement in the governorate, which is full of creators, and within the directorate’s plan to spread culture and various arts.
In turn, the head of the branch of the Union of Fine Artists Eid Al-Nazhan indicated that the exhibition was distinguished by paintings that carried high craftsmanship and deep meanings derived from the environment of the Euphrates and expressing the victories achieved by the men of the Syrian Arab Army since the October war until today as evidence that life with all its joints returned to the city of Deir ez-Zor.
