The Council of the Engineers Syndicate in As-Suwayda seeks to establish investments that provide financial revenues to the Syndicate that will benefit the engineers, as the investment complex project was recently completed at a total cost of about one billion Syrian pounds.
The head of the Engineers Syndicate branch in Sweida, Dr. Eng. Hassan Fahd, explained that the work on its implementation took several years, and it is the first completed investment projects for the Syndicate in the governorate and a vital commercial facility serving investors and the people of the governorate, indicating that the Syndicate branch is preparing an investment tower whose completion rate is about 70 percent, in addition to a land area 68 dunums in the village of Barika.
Fahd explained to SANA Economic Center that 30% of the complex's revenues go to the Syndicate branch and 70% to the central engineers' retirement treasury, which is positively reflected on the services provided to engineers, pointing out that the project is an eleven-storey commercial building equipped with the best mechanical and electrical equipment and served with a telephone network.
In turn, Engineer Nasser Zahreddine, the project manager, stated that the floor area of the complex is 8,000 square meters, comprising 41 shops and 26 serviced offices, in addition to a restaurant with a kitchen and 2 terraces on the eighth floor, a cafeteria with a kitchen on the ninth floor, and there is a service basement with an area of 1200 meters It contains a garage, a shelter and rooms for other services.
Zahreddine said: Sales contracts have been signed for three exchanges within the floors designated for sale, and work is currently underway to complete the legal procedures required for renting exchanges from the ground floor to the third.
