An unusual incident in Judea and Samaria:
An IDF officer and soldier were lightly injured this evening (Wednesday) as a result of pepper spray sprayed on them by an Israeli citizen near the town of Adi until the Binyamin Territorial Brigade. The two received medical treatment on the spot.
The serious incident occurred after representatives of the Ramallah Coordination and Liaison Directorate (DCO), including the officer and the soldier, were called to the scene following a report of nationalist crime in the area.
This is the second case in two days in which IDF soldiers have been attacked by Israeli civilians in Judea and Samaria.
At the end of the activity when the forces left the area, some rioters threw rocks and bottles of paint at the forces.
As part of the riot, a stone was thrown at a Border Police vehicle, which shattered the window of the car. As a result, a Border Police fighter was lightly injured by the shards of glass.
Also, on the exit route of the forces, irons were found that were intended to impair the mobility of the forces.
