Mindelheim - Results of current excavations in Swabia and new findings on the history and archeology of Bavaria are the focus of this year's annual conference on archeology in Bavaria.
Archaeologists, archaeologists and interested laypeople will discuss on Friday and Saturday, 15./16.

The annual conference is an event of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation, the Society for Archeology in Bavaria eV and the city of Mindelheim.
It starts on Friday at 1.30 p.m. with introductory remarks by Mindelheim's Mayor Dr.
Stephan Winter, Prof. Dr.
Sebastian Sommer and Prof. Dr.
Bernd Päffgen.
According to a report on current excavations in Swabia, the opening day will be rounded off by city tours through Mindelheim.
The lecture program on Saturday deals with archeology in Bavaria.
The lectures are open to the public and can be attended while observing the "3G plus" rules.
On Sunday there is the opportunity to visit the Mindelheim museums.
