A border fighter was moderately-lightly injured last night (Thursday) in a car bomb attack near the Qalandiya checkpoint. The wounded man was taken to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem.



The incident took place when border guards evacuated an illegal structure near the checkpoint. A Palestinian vehicle accelerated towards the fighter and ran over him. Border guards fired at the vehicle, as a result of which the terrorist was arrested.
