Potsdam - With the new Corona rules in Brandenburg, unvaccinated citizens in three districts no longer need tests for visiting restaurants, hotels, theaters or swimming pools.
Since Wednesday, this mandatory test has only been in effect from a seven-day incidence of 35.
The districts of Havelland (30.4), Potsdam-Mittelmark (33.5) and the Uckermark with the lowest nationwide value of 16.9 were below this value. If the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants falls below the threshold of 35 in a week, no test is necessary. The test obligation was previously valid from a value of 20.
The maximum number of visitors for compulsory testing or corresponding evidence at open-air events such as folk festivals, fairs and concerts has risen from 500 to 1000.
The red-black-green state government wants to enable the organizers to operate economically because of the control effort.
The 2G rule, according to which vaccinated and convalescent people can dispense with distance rules and mask requirements, is being extended by restaurants, hotels and clubs to include lessons in vocal and wind instruments.
