"They are ready to do anything to gag me," whispered Valérie Murat this Wednesday morning, before the hearing. Wednesday morning, the nine lawyers recalled during the hearing that Valérie Murat had not paid the full fine and that "she continues to claim her resistance on social networks", lamented another lawyer before add "no, Mrs Murat is not allowed to say what she wants". "She has removed the details of the wine analyzes and published the verdict of the judgment", recalled Me Morain, the lawyer of the whistleblower, stressing "The fine represents ten years of salary for her, it is proof of a disproportionate judgment ”.

At the same time, around fifty activists were gathered in front of the Bordeaux Court of Appeal, in support of the whistleblower.

"If it is condemned, all our associations will be muzzled, it is no coincidence that the CIVB has set the bar very high to silence us all", warns Sylvie Nony, vice-president of the Alerte Pesticide Haute Gironde association .

The Toxic Alert Collective has planned to appeal in cassation if the appeal is canceled.
