Hanni Münzer has published a new book: The bestselling author from Wolfratshausen plunged deep into an unknown world during her research.

Wolfratshausen - She has done it again: The Wolfratshausen bestselling author Hanni Münzer seems to be shaking the novels out of her sleeve.

The translations of her home saga are currently going around the world, while “As long as there is love” is climbing up the bestseller list in this country.

It is the latest work by the successful author.

Hanni Münzer dived incognito in a coffee roastery for the new novel

The idea for the cross-generational novel of fate came to her while cleaning the espresso machine.

It is the prequel, so to speak, the prehistory to the work “As long as there are butterflies”, which was published in 2017.

In an interview with our newspaper Münzer reports with a smile: "As I am a passionate coffee drinker myself, I was tempted to erect a literary memorial to the stimulating bean."

New Münzer novel: "As long as there is love"

The novel is about a Bavarian coffee dynasty in the fictional town of Dinzing. He tells of the terrible fate of the young mother Julie, who loses her loved ones in an accident - and her will to live: Julie refuses anything, opens neither the front door nor letters until she ends up on the street in Berlin, virtually homeless. A short time later, the news reaches her that her father, with whom she had broken up years ago, has passed away. At the lowest point in her life, she travels back to her Bavarian homeland and has to decide whether she wants to inherit the family coffee roasting business. The argument with her bossy grandmother Klara brings to light serious entanglements that go far back into the past.

In captivating leaps in time, the author Hanni Münzer leads back again and again to Klara's difficult girl years in Germany's darkest time.

As a young, often lonely girl, mocked by her brothers, she once fell in love with the coffee heir Friedrich.

And she made a fateful decision.

Münzer's new novel takes us back to the world war past

The author has again done extensive research for this novel. To do this, she visited a coffee roastery, among other things. Did you receive them there on the red carpet? "Of course not. I was incognito there, just as a normal visitor. ”During a tour of the company, however, the 56-year-old had paid close attention so that she learned a lot about the trade. “The content has to be right when I describe it,” she says. A tightrope walk, because “I don't want to overload the reader with too much specialist knowledge”.

A coffee-brown Labrador plays an important role in "As long as there is love" to go with the roasted brown coffee beans.

"Charoú" - the lucky one.

Dog friend Münzer reveals: “Actually at least one dog plays a supporting role in every one of my books.” In her opinion, pets in general, especially dogs, enrich life and are indispensable companions: “They love us as we are, they neither want to change nor change us Evaluate. ”Münzer, born in Wolfratshausen in 1965, is currently working on a new novel.

Title: "At the end of the night".

Here, too, a four-legged friend will probably have its paws in the game.

Münzer: The author comes from Wolfratshausen

Münzer grew up in Dietramszell and is considered one of the most successful authors in Germany.

With her "Soul Fisherman Series" and the "Honey Dead Saga" she reached an audience of millions.

Her books appear in 17 countries, and a multi-part film adaptation of “Honigtot” is being planned.

She wrote her own stories as a child.

The love for writing grew and brought the former board secretary to the bestseller lists with e-books before publishers became aware of her.

She has been working as a freelance writer for over eight years.

After working in Seattle, Stuttgart and Rome, the 56-year-old author lives with her husband again in Wolfratshausen - or as she lovingly calls it: in Middle-earth., Her home.

That, too, is always an important topic for the author.
