The Spanish media report tonight (Wednesday) that Lucas Hernandez, a player for the French national team and Bayern Munich, could go to jail after the court in Madrid ordered an actual prison sentence of one year.
The defender was asked to appear in court in six days to start serving his prison sentence after an appeal by his lawyer was rejected outright.
Hernandez, was accused of being an Atletico Madrid player in 2017 for assaulting his partner with violence.
Following that assault, the court sentenced the left-back to a month of community service and prevented him from approaching his partner, which did not prevent the two from going on a joint honeymoon.

The Spanish media also stated that after not complying with the court's instructions regarding that deportation order, he was required to arrive in Madrid immediately in order to start seeking actual imprisonment.
The report states that until the court accepts the actor's second appeal, it is not inconceivable that Hernandez will have to spend several days behind bars.
