During searches in the district of Stendal and the neighboring district of Havelland, the police seized more than 50 kilograms of cannabis herbs as well as over 500 cannabis plants and the equipment for operating several indoor plantations.
As part of the measures, a total of ten suspects were found on Tuesday and were provisionally arrested by order of the public prosecutor, the police said on Wednesday.
Stendal - Arrest warrants were issued for five suspects between the ages of 32 and 38, the other suspects were released.
The police searched a total of twelve objects in the districts of Stendal and Havelland.
The Stendal District Court ordered the measures at the request of the Stendal Public Prosecutor's Office.
The public prosecutors in Stendal are currently investigating the suspicion of illicit trading with narcotics in large quantities.
According to the information, the searches were carried out by police officers from Sachsen-Anhalt.
They secured extensive evidence.
