The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Hama has put 13 projects to renovate drinking water networks into service, while the completion of six other projects continues.
The director of the foundation, Dr. Mutee Abshi, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the foundation has completed the replacement of the drinking water networks that feed the villages of Anboura, Qayrun, Kaf Al-Habash, Tal Afar, Amra, Al-Daliba, Al-Nahda, Al-Qabo, Al-Sheha, Tulul Al-Hamr, Tal Al-Saan, drawing Al-Jurn and Al-Shajar, and put them all in service after canceling the old networks that suffer from Serious damage as a result of his presentation, indicating that the Corporation continues to work on six other projects in the villages of Al-Rusafa, Ain Al-Shams and Al-Jarifat in the Masyaf area and in the villages of Al-Khandaq and Al-Hurra and the dictation line that feeds the town of Al-Abr in the Al-Ghab Plain. It is expected that these projects will be completed by the end of this year and put into actual service.
Abshi added that the Corporation is still continuing to work at a high pace in completing the second traction line that feeds the city of Hama, where the value of the works is estimated at about 3 billion Syrian pounds this year, and this project is one of the largest irrigation projects in Syria.
