The actor and cabaret artist Michael Quast was honored with the honorary award at the award ceremony of the Baden-Württemberg Cabaret Prize.
The 62-year-old comes from Heidelberg, lives in Frankfurt and runs the “Fliegende Volksbühne” there.
He became known not only as an actor, but also as a comedian, emcee and director.
Quast gained stage experience at the Ulm Theater, at the Schauspiel and at the Frankfurt Opera, among other things, he also played at the Staatstheater Stuttgart, the Hamburger Kammerspiele and the Theater Heidelberg.
Stuttgart - The honorary award is endowed with 5000 euros and, like the other awards of the cabaret award, is financed in equal parts by the state of Baden-Württemberg and the State Toto-Lotto GmbH Baden-Württemberg.
Quast was recognized the evening before, according to Wednesday.
