Monday, October 11 at 9 p.m., Place du Général-de-Gaulle in Raincy, a young man sees one of his acquaintances running up, pursued by an individual.
In his hands, the latter is armed with a knife.
When he catches up with his victim, he stabs him at least six times in the back.
The thirty-something collapses in a bloodbath.
Helpless, his friend could not prevent the assailant from striking him, but he perhaps saved him the worst by vigorously pushing back his attacker.
In the process, the young man immediately calls the firefighters.
They note that the injured person is still alive but his vital prognosis is engaged.
He was transported by a medical team to the Bichat hospital in Paris (18th arrondissement).
His condition has since improved and his life is no longer in danger.
"He was released from the hospital," said a source close to the investigation.
The alleged perpetrator of this knife attack was arrested shortly after the incident.
He was taken into custody.
Its identity is uncertain.
He would be around twenty years old and would be from Seine-et-Marne.
The investigation was entrusted to the departmental service of the judicial police of Seine-Saint-Denis.
