Schwandorf - Early Wednesday morning (October 6th) there was a sexual offense on a playground in the Schwandorf * district of Krondorf, as the Upper Palatinate police headquarters * wrote in a report.
According to the current state of the investigation, a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old consumed alcohol together.
At around 4.55 a.m., the youngster began to sexually harass the 19-year-old and finally rape her.

The woman managed to escape when the suspect let go of her.
Shortly thereafter, she ran into a police officer who was privately walking his dog.
The 19-year-old described the incident to him.
The officer immediately informed his colleagues.
The manhunt, initiated immediately, was successful.
The suspect was arrested just a few minutes later.
The Amberg Criminal Police Department began the investigation into the case.
After rape in Schwandorf: suspect is now in prison
On the basis of the knowledge gained, the investigating judge issued an arrest warrant against the 17-year-old on the same day.
Since then, the young man has been in a correctional facility.
