When mother and son tried to take a shortcut across the Pullach high bank, there were dramatic scenes - the rescue team from the fire brigade arrived and freed the woman.
Pullach
- The Pullach fire brigade freed a woman from the Isar slope yesterday at 6:35 p.m.
The Munich resident was visiting Pullach with her son.
During an evening walk, the two apparently wanted to take a shortcut - and underestimated the steep slope of the high bank.
"They really misjudged themselves properly"
While the son managed to negotiate the steep slope, the mother could neither go forward nor back.
It hung on the slope for about half an hour before the fire brigade could free it, says Thomas Maranelli, deputy commander of the voluntary fire brigade in Pullach.
“They really miscalculated.” The Pullach fire brigade was alerted to Heilmannstrasse with the key word “THL P Rescue H / T Fall Rescue”.
Rescue at heights from the fire brigade is approaching
Exemplary passers-by ensured a smooth operation on site.
The couple was also on a walk and defused the situation.
While the woman was already waiting for the fire brigade and was able to show them the scene, “the man got down and calmed the woman down,” says Maranelli.
The specially trained height safety officers of the fire brigade were able to get the woman back on the straight line unharmed.
"She was only slightly weakened, but didn't need any treatment." The emergency services released her on the spot.
