A 43-year-old is said to be behind bars for life for a murder with a hammer and screwdriver.
In its judgment on Wednesday, the Karlsruhe Regional Court saw it as proven that the Turkish defendant killed a 51-year-old former business partner last December in a forest near Mühlacker (Enzkreis) "with an absolute will to annihilate".
Karlsruhe - The victim died after 47 blows and stings.
With the act, the defendant wanted to eliminate a witness in tax proceedings.
The co-accused German partner was acquitted.
It has not been proven that the 49-year-old knew about her fiancé's plans to murder.
The victim was her ex-husband.
The dead man was found in the trunk of a car.
