After making only two appearances in three years saturated with injuries, the Serbian midfielder Orosh Nikolic said goodbye to Maccabi Tel Aviv in a personal post on Instagram.
"I want to thank all my teammates on the professional and medical staff for accepting me this way and making me feel like a home player, as one of their own. I wish everyone health and success in the future and you know my door will always be open for you," Nikolic wrote.

I only regret two things - that I did not help my friends on the grass and did not get to play in front of the amazing fans of Maccabi and show them what I can contribute. "
At the end, the Serb added: "I was told a long time ago that I will never run again with this knee, but I am very close to returning to full training and those who know me know that I will bring my body to the edge. I will give 200% and sacrifice everything to play football again. It's hard to try to get back on the pitches gradually, because football is my life! "
