Several people were injured and killed in an act of violence in Norway.
An armed perpetrator injured several people in the center of the city of Kongsberg, southwest of Oslo, and there were also deaths, said the police chief Øyvind Aas on Wednesday evening at a press conference.
A man was allegedly armed with a bow and arrow and was arrested.
It looks like a lone perpetrator.
The background was initially unclear.
According to the police, it was still too early to answer the question of whether it could have been an act motivated by terrorism.
