The neighborhood, which is expected to be called "Lana", is expected to be built in the years north of the capital and near Beit Hanina, a Palestinian neighborhood located in the north of the city.

Maor Tzemach, chairman of the Lech Yerushalayim organization, commented yesterday on the approval given by the municipality, saying that "any Arab construction between Ramallah and Jerusalem will harm the unity of the city," he added.
