Hundreds of Israelis were mentioned in the huge body of documents that exposed corruption, tax evasion and dubious businesses that became known as "Pandora's documents," as the independent media body in Israel revealed, "Guards."
Among those mentioned in the discovery, whose criminal value is unclear, are businessmen Eyal and Idan Ofer, owners of Betar Moshe Hogg and the designated Israeli astronaut, Eitan Steve.
The revelations, which appeared on the "Guards" website, state that no less than 565 Israelis were mentioned in more than 12 million documents that were leaked and published by the International Investigative Journalists' Organization.
The exposure marked the Ofer family.
According to the allegations, Eyal Ofer enjoys a fund that was established in the Cayman Islands and made it possible, in theory, to hide various financial transactions.
It is not at all clear whether the exposure violates the law.
Businessman Idan Ofer was also mentioned in the exposure, where it was alleged that he used the company to own a yacht registered in the Virgin Islands, as a guarantee for loans worth millions of euros.
Here, too, it is not clear whether the allegations have any criminal value or whether it is indeed a tax evasion.

Another character mentioned by "Reserved" is the designated Israeli astronaut, Eitan Steve.
It is alleged that Steve was involved in a company that did business with Angolan ruler Sebastian Dos Santos, and despite the denials of Steve and his associates, sold arms to the ruler.
It was further alleged that Steve continued to hold companies in tax havens along with his partners in a company operating in Angola.
Pandora documents include 12 million online documents leaked from 14 different companies used by business entities seeking tax havens.
According to the Guardians' Organization, Israel and Israelis are mentioned in about 40,000 different documents.
The document analysis operation involved more than 600 journalists from Madinu Tshonot and caused embarrassment to senior figures in the world, including Abdullah King of Jordan and Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babish.
The documents allegedly showed how political leaders, capitalists and businessmen use tax havens to evade tax legislation in their countries, while many countries around the world are struggling with economic crises and the corona plague.
