Paris-Orly: new lines in cascade for Vueling, Transavia or Corsair

The aviation sector is gradually picking up its colors and the airport in southern Paris will see many new lines appear for winter 2021 and spring 2022. A quick overview.


After closing its doors during the pandemic, Paris-Orly airport, which was given a facelift in 2019 and will host line 14 of the Paris metro in 2024, is seeing its traffic recover month after month.

As the 2021-2022 winter season approaches, the airlines that land there, Vueling and Transavia in the lead, have increased the number of announcements of line launches.

Here are the novelties to remember, destinations by destinations.

Spain: from Jerez to the Canaries

After having recovered many slots at the airport, ceded by Air France as part of its aid by the French State, the Spanish low-cost company Vueling is taking the opportunity to open numerous routes from Orly (32 new routes to ten countries in total, as of November 2, 2021). Towards Spain, it is integrating five new routes this winter on its program:

In Germany, Air France is preparing to launch a daily A318 flight to Berlin, in addition to the offer from CDG (6 flights / day).

Just like Transavia, which plans to launch 3 flights per week to

Berlin

from October 22, 2021. From the same date, the low cost green Boeing aircraft will also fly from Orly to

Krakow

(Poland) and to

Stockholm
