Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is due to speak to MEPs on Tuesday (October 19) about the controversial decision of his country's Constitutional Court challenging the rule of European law, AFP learned on Wednesday from the Polish government and the European Parliament .

The nationalist conservative leader made this request to the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli to "
present the position of Poland
" in a debate scheduled, the spokesman of the Polish head of government, Piotr Müller, said on Twitter.
