The former Minister of Defense of Venezuela, Raúl Isaías Baduel, died in jail for alleged complications of the covid-19, although his widow denies that he has been ill with the coronavirus.
Baduel was a key player in the return of Hugo Chávez after the brief 2002 coup, but in 2007 he became an opponent of the Chavista regime.
Osmary Hernández has the report and the reactions from Caracas.
