Dachau / Reisgang - The driver of a tractor team from the Dachau district caused an accident on Tuesday at 11.55 a.m. on the B 13 near Hettenshausen (Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district) in which two road users were seriously injured.
After the accident, an unreasonable truck driver also ensured that the rescue workers were obstructed.
As reported by the Pfaffenhofen police, the 19-year-old was traveling south with his Bulldog and two empty trailers in the Reisgang district of Hettenshausen. According to his own information, he recognized several vehicles in front of him at the end of the village that wanted to turn left. As a result, a car driving in front of him reduced its speed. The 19-year-old also wanted to slow down his team. Presumably due to a technical defect, the rear trailer did not decelerate and broke sideways as a result. The 43-year-old driver of a flatbed truck from the Ingolstadt area that was approaching at the same time could no longer evade and drove head-on into the trailer that had meanwhile got onto his lane. As a result, he and his 21-year-old passenger were seriously injured. The 19-year-old was uninjured.
In the backwater, a 30-year-old Ukrainian turned his trailer combination to escape the traffic jam and blocked the entire federal highway.
This meant that the fire brigade and rescue service could only get to the scene of the accident with a delay.
The man is now being investigated because of the handicap of people providing assistance.
