It crashed several times and two people were injured.

It crashed three times near the Seeshaupt junction.

Heavy sleet showers or hail-like rain surprised the motorists and made the road surface as smooth as a mirror.

Accidents on the A 95: Numerous emergency services were challenged on Wednesday morning

As the Weilheim traffic police wrote in their press release, it crashed three times in a very short time on the A95. All the accident sites were only a few meters apart. The reason was the sudden sleet shower about a kilometer from the Seeshaupt junction. Many drivers were still on the road with their summer tires and had no chance to control their vehicle on the slippery road. In addition, the road users probably did not adapt their speed to the difficult weather conditions.

All accidents occurred in the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, write the police.

According to initial estimates, this resulted in a total loss of 30,000 euros.

The motorway had to be closed for about an hour between the Wolfratshausen and Seeshaupt junctions.

A diversion via Eurasburg and Beuerberg has been set up.

It was only at 8:50 a.m. that traffic was able to flow smoothly again.

Nevertheless, there were long traffic jams during rush hour.

Three patrols from the Weilheim traffic police, one from PI Wolfratshausen, 30 helpers from the fire brigades from Münsing, Wolfratshausen and Bad Tölz, as well as two emergency doctors, five ambulances and one vehicle from the rescue service were in action.

The police briefly summarized the accidents in their report. A 29-year-old from the Penzberg region, probably without the influence of other road users, skidded with her Skoda Rapid and crashed twice into the central barrier. She was slightly injured in the impact and was then taken care of by the emergency services. Your car would not move a meter without assistance and had to be towed away. The entire left side of the Rapid was damaged in the accident. There was an economic total loss to the car of around 5000 euros. The police put the damage to the guardrail at around 500 euros.

Shortly afterwards, another accident occurred a little later.

A 24-year-old from the Fürstenfeldbruck district was driving his Mercedes Vito in the left lane when he lost control of his vehicle.

The van began to turn on the mirror-smooth road and slide against the Fiat Panda of a woman from Munich (31) who was traveling in the right-hand lane.

Both cars then came to a stop on the hard shoulder.

All vehicle occupants were uninjured in the collision.

The vehicles suffered damage of around 3,000 euros.

She hit the guardrail and suffered minor injuries.

She was also taken to a hospital by the ambulance service.

The Opel suffered a total economic loss of around 15,000 euros and had to be towed.
