In turn, social networks face blackouts.
After a cut in the services of the Facebook group for nearly six hours last week, this time Snapchat seems to be suffering from a problem.
Since around 12:30 p.m., it is not possible for some users to send messages or share photos in their Stories.
The failure, first reported on social networks with the message #SnapchatDown, is verified thanks to the downdetector tool which lists more than 7,000 incident reports.
Around 4:30 p.m., the rate of alerts seemed to decrease.
On Twitter, the social network with the little ghost indicated that it was in the process of resolving the problem.
The reason for this incident is currently unknown, but it seems disconnected from the one that occurred in the early morning, when the sites hosted by OVHCloud were unavailable for an hour.
Contacted about this, the network did not respond to our requests.
