The student parliament of the University of Greifswald criticizes the return of the law professor and outgoing AfD member of the state parliament, Ralph Weber, to teaching at the university.
This decision was passed unanimously on Tuesday evening, as reported by the student information portal webmoritz.
The students accuse Weber of representing right-wing extremist ideas.
Before his election to the state parliament, Greifswald - Weber was a professor at the University of Greifswald and was given leave of absence for his time in parliament as a university professor.
He won the direct mandate in the constituency around Wolgast in 2016, but had not recently been appointed by his own party.
His return to teaching has been announced for the end of October, said the President of the Student Parliament, Bennet Buchholz.
