The activist Sylvain Afoua, known as Egountchi Behanzin, was arrested yesterday Tuesday, October 12 at his home.
According to information confirmed in
Le Figaro
by the prosecutor's office in Évreux, the man is the subject of an investigation concerning acts of violence in meetings, in particular on a person holding public authority, and the organization of a demonstration without authorization.
Three other people close to the activist were also arrested and like him, referred to the court, adds the prosecution.

", Sylvain Afoua had entered the town hall of Val-de-Reuil (Eure), and had attacked several people.
