Yassine B., the assailant of a teacher at a vocational high school in Combs-la-Ville, in Seine-et-Marne, was sentenced Wednesday, October 13 to five months' imprisonment with a probationary suspension of two years, reports BFMTV.
This 18-year-old high school student was tried in immediate appearance by the Melun Criminal Court.
His suspended sentence may be "
transformed
" into a prison sentence if he commits a new offense during this probationary period.

On a video posted on social networks, viewed more than 1.6 million times Monday, we can see the high school student trying to get out of a classroom in the middle of class. Her 66-year-old teacher is against it. The young man then shouts to him: “

".
"You are at school. Don't touch me, Yassine,
”replied the teacher. But, under the laughter of his comrades, the young man does not hesitate to violently open the door. The teacher is then brutally thrown to the ground.
Yassine B. was also sentenced to 140 hours of community service, a citizenship internship and a ban on contacting the teacher, details BFMTV. An obligation of psychological care, in particular for an addiction to cannabis, and an obligation of training and to follow one's education, were also pronounced by the court.
During the hearing, Yassine B. expressed regret, qualifying his behavior as "
shameful
".
The young man, already sentenced in 2019 for "
aggravated thefts
" and "
extortion by violence
", said he was worried about his baccalaureate "
because no high school will accept me after that
".
The high school student also indicated that he wanted to join the army.
In shock, the teacher did not go to the hearing.
