The third day for the testimony of Aviram Elad, former editor-in-chief of the Walla!

In 2018-2016, it will begin today (Wednesday) in the Jerusalem District Court as part of the 4000 case. Elad is the second witness to testify at the trial of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the testimony of the first witness, former Walla! Ilan Yeshua, was spread over 33 hearings over a six-month period, during which Yeshua explained Netanyahu's influence on the site's media coverage of the years he ran it.

Of the Prime Minister and how the work is conducted in front of communication systems, and Elad confirmed that it is.

Ben-Zur also asked if Elad knew the representatives of the Netanyahu family, Nir Hefetz and Zeev Rubinstein, to which Elad replied that he did not know Rubinstein - but he did.

Ben-Zur questioned Elad regarding the coverage of the transparent dress worn by Sarah Netanyahu to swear in the 19th Knesset. In addition to the article that appeared in the fashion section, an article appeared on the subject of the reporter Shabtai Bennett, under the headline "The ultra-Orthodox are angry with Sarah Netanyahu: provocative clothing." Netanyahu's defense attorney then presented a message that Ilan Yeshua sent to Zeev Rubinstein in which he wrote "it hurts me about her and the children, do not give them rest, like predators, feel a deep need to fix it", and asked Elad if he knew the message and Elad replied no.

Ben Tzur:

It's a merging business, isn't it?

Elad:

I felt uncomfortable with it.

Ben-Zur presented other articles from other media, including criticism by women's organizations and Limor Livnat about the merging business in Netanyahu's dress. Even at Walla! An article by David Wertheim appeared on the subject.

Ben Tzur:

We saw comments, we saw a publication that reflects the reactions, an appropriate description.

Elad:

Yes, but not what I talked about in the interrogation, I did not talk about whether the dress was okay or wrong, or had to write one way or another, I talked about interventions, there was an intervention of Ilan Yeshua in a non-journalistic way.

Ben Tzur:

Under the generic title "interventions" it is not enough, because one has to understand what was. One has to understand the sequence of the episode. There are articles that despise, there are inquiries that say it is unfair, there is political practice that says it is inappropriate, and there are media outlets that cover both sides.

Elad:

This discussion is very appropriate, it just should not be conducted by order of the CEO to act one way or another. That is not the point.

Ben Tzur:

That is exactly the point. , He does not know what Ilan Yeshua tells you, it's discussions that are out of territory, so when we point a camera at the black box, to the site, that's the only objective reflection on the subject.

Judge Moshe Bar-Am interrupted Ben-Zur: What does it matter how he interprets what salvation said, my lord does not know what is happening inside, he is talking about a demand that came from salvation, my lord inquired into this matter.

Justice Bar-Am even remarked that things are also hidden with Netanyahu's line of defense, according to which there were interventions but they had other unknown connections.
