Wyoming County Teton County Investigator Brent Blue announced today (Wednesday) that findings from the autopsy of the body of Gabi Patito, the blogger who disappeared and was found dead in Grand Teton National Park, were strangled to death.

The determination repeats the notion that Patito was murdered.

The investigator claimed that according to the condition of the body, she was left in the wilderness for at least three weeks.

"Unfortunately, this is just one of the deaths as a result of domestic violence that we have seen in the country recently, but unfortunately other cases do not receive media exposure like this case," Blue said during the press conference.

As you may recall, Patito's body was found last month after lengthy searches in the national park.

She was seen alive recently after a violent quarrel with her fiancée, Brian Lundry.

The fiancé disappeared after being questioned by police on suspicion of involvement in her murder and is now considered wanted for questioning by police.

Earlier this month, a Virginia state traveler reported seeing Lundry during a hike in a wooded and desolate area.

Police and the FBI are conducting a comprehensive search for Lundry, but so far no clues have been found.

The disappearance of the young and smiling blogger caused a stir in the United States.

Women's organizations demonstrated in front of Lundry's family home demanding that they reveal details of his whereabouts and cooperate with police in investigating the case, which is increasingly emerging as a murder case.

The case underscored the deceptive culture of social media, as Patito and Lundry often uploaded photos of themselves hugged and loved to the Instagram network, while Patito's family said their relationship had been difficult and violent for some time.
